One day in TAINAN! (8 Things to do in Taiwan's Historic Capital)

We visited Tainan, Taiwan which is Taiwan's oldest city and reputed to have the best food in the entire country! So made a vlog of some of the best things to do in Tainan - many of which you guys recommended! This includes the Anping District, as well as some of Tainan's delicious food, historic temples & forts, and an amazing cultural experience in the oldest city in Taiwan!

(We did not properly film it, but we liked Tainan so much we stayed an extra day and ate allllll the food! Definitely recommend a visit! :D)

Planning your own quick trip to Tainan? Add these to your itinerary!
1. Head to the Anping District - which is rich in history and used to be known as "Dayuan", which is the origin of the name "Taiwan"! Neat, huh!?
2. See nature taking back over at the historic Anping Tree House.
3. Visit Fort Zeelandia to learn a bit about Taiwan's history.
4. Shop at the Anping Old Street - said to be the oldest street in Taiwan!
5. Try some of Tainan's legendary food! (Seriously, it's SO good we stayed an extra day lol!)
6. Explore one of the best preserved areas in Taiwan, Shennong Street, for historic buildings and cool tourist goods!
7. Appreciate the Grand Mazu Temple, which is reputed to be Taiwan's oldest temple!
8. Learn more about Taiwan's ties to Dutch history at Chikan Tower, AKA Fort Provintia
