Cities of Sigmar Solemngard Showcase

Just a short collection of videos of my progress on the Cities of Sigmar range from Warhammer: Age of Sigmar. For my color scheme I chose to create my own City; Solemngard!

Solemngard wasn't "founded" so much as it was "rediscovered." No one knows the history of this formerly abandoned port-city, or why the strange idols loom so hideously over the cobbled streets and darkened halls of its temples. The Sigmarite priests who reclaimed these ancient holy sites often descend into madness, as if they themselves had undergone one too many Reforgings.

Those holy priests who have spent too many nights with the remnants of these long-forgotten scriptures are often found bent-backed and groveling at the foot of these massive stone adornments, reduced to the insane militant-flaggelants who scream Sigmar's "true name" as they whip themselves into the vanguard of battle.

The Priests of Solemngard see this as the true blessing of those who carry the Word of the God-King, and some whose dreams have been blessed by His holy visage claim that the face of Sigmar is not what is reflected in the faces of the Stormcast Eternals, but instead something more alien, more horrible, and utterly divine.
