In this clip, Karl Johnson, a volunteer Scouter with Far East Council in Tokyo, Japan, shares his reactions after a visit to the Summit Bechtel Reserve — the site of the BSA's 2013 National Jamboree. "I've been to jamborees in a couple locations, and to see something like this grow out of the mountains and valleys and be just for the Scouts, it's incredible," he says.

The Summit Bechtel Reserve is 10,600 acres of the best of Scouting — high adventure like rock climbing, mountain biking, whitewater rafting, zip lines and ropes courses, even BMX and skateboarding. And, there's all the traditional Scouting action, too: shooting sports, archery, pioneering, leadership, team-building, and more.
