Arena: Days of Shadow is an independent animated series made by a solo filmmaker, Eddie Sharam. It tells the fictional story of Shadow, a panther taken from her jungle home to entertain the crowds in the bloody spectacle of the gladiator fighting arenas of the Roman Empire. It follows her struggle for survival and freedom, along with the other beasts and humans who inhabited and sometimes thrived in that savage world. Panthers, tigers, Julius Caesar, Cleopatra and gladiators of all kinds weave an action-packed story with many twists in its tail.
