First we recorded the dialogue.

Then we started sketching and painting the walrus, the bees, the waves and rocks.

Then we took all the illustrations apart in photoshop.

We then took all the cut up elements into Toonboom Harmony and Final Cut Pro, put them back together again before moving them according to the audio.

Finally we added the words and additional sound effects for the waves and bee.

This short animation was a character animation test for a new song + animation we're making at the moment about counting fish. It was fun to try out his flexibility.
