Cleveland weather forecast: Tracking shower chances

Your 7 a.m. Greater Cleveland and Northeast Ohio weather forecast for March 31, 2024:

As we go into Easter Sunday, it will be a dry start and temperatures will rebound, thanks to a little bit of sunshine. Highs are expected to be up to the low 50s across much of the region, except for areas right by the lake. With a northerly wind coming off of Lake Erie, it will keep Downtown on the cooler side for most of Sunday.

Our next system approaches for Sunday night and it is going to bring some steady rain to the entire region. Expect the rain to get going after sunset on Sunday and it will continue into our Monday morning.

There will be quite a few chances for rain as we go through the next week or so with the core of the rain arriving on Monday and lasting through early Thursday, before things start to simmer down.
