On May 11th at South High School in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Tim Peterson a USAF and Minnesota National Guard Veteran gave his speech to get the Democratic endorsement against the current Incumbent Ilhan Omar in Minnesota 5th Congressional District. At the end of the speech Tim Peterson pulls his name out of consideration for the Minnesota DFL endorsement and endorses Don Samuels for the Minnesota Democratic primary election on August 13, 2024.
