Denmark Western Australia- Valley of the Giants, Greens Pool, Elephant Rocks, Parry and Lights Beach

Situated about 5 hours south of Perth and about 40 minutes west of Albany, Denmark is a great destination to visit to get away from the hussle and bustle of the city. Located on the Wilson Inlet, Denmark is a great mix between the forests and the iconic beaches of the south west.

During this video we visit a number of iconic destinations in the Denmark Region. The first being Parry Beach (22min / 29km from Denmark). There is a great little camp ground situated right at the beach entrance at Parry Beach. With 4wd access right onto the beach you can also launch your boat from this location.

We visit the iconic beaches of Elephant Rocks and Greens Pool (17min / 18km from Denmark). Situated right next to each other these iconic beaches are very popular with the tourists, but are a must visit location whilst in Denmark.

If you have a four wheel drive and are looking to get off the beaten track a bit, Boat Harbour (34min / 33km from Denmark) is a great place to visit. With numerous sand tracks to explore and beach access in a number of places it is well worth exploring.

The Valley of the Giants (38min / 50km from Denmark) is a tree top walk that takes you 40 meters into the canopy of the majestic tingles trees. Even if you don't want to pay for the tree top walk you can meander the ancient empire walk which takes you around and through the base of the trees.

If you have young kids, the Alpaca Farm (16min / 20km from Denmark) is worth a visit. The kids get given some animal feed and can wander around the farm checking out the various animals.

Something that is a bit different is Dinosaur World (28min / 39km from Denmark). With big moving replicas and dinosaur skeletons on display, as well as various exotic birds, reptiles and kangaroos, there is plenty to keep the kids entertained.

If you have bad weather while you are in Denmark it shouldn't stop you from heading down to the beach. Lights Beach (21km / 22min from Denmark) is a great beach to explore even if you are not planning on going for a swim.

Looking for somewhere to camp near the beach? Cosy Corner (28min / 36Km from Denmark) has numerous camping spots with access right down onto the beach. Another great little beach for the kids to explore.
