After the split up of Sieges Even in 2008, Subsignal was formed by Markus Steffen (guitars) and Arno Menses (vocals) and the band released six studio albums, one live DVD and one live album. In 2024 the band toured to promote their latest album, A Poetry of Rain.

Shortly after the tour singer Arno Menses announced his departure from Subsignal and that put the band in jeopardy. Not knowing this, I reached out to Markus for an interview, but that did not happen. Until a few weeks ago, when I got word that there were developments! So time to chat with Markus, about the departure of Arno, the future of Subsignal and a lot more!
