We’ve sailed the 330 nautical miles from Vanuatu to New Caledonia and the clearance process into New Caledonia continues. We’ve been here a few days now and we’re eager to get out and see this beautiful country.

After spending 3 years sailing within New Zealand & preparing for offshore sailing, we sailed our 40 ft sailboat Te Tāiko from New Zealand to Fiji & enjoyed the beauty and tranquility Fiji has to offer. We've now said goodbye to Fiji and have completed our first ocean passage (bluewater crossing) as a couple (only the two of us aboard). We have continued to sail west to our next destination, the beautiful country of Vanuatu.

In December 2021 we moved aboard our sailboat Te Tāiko, a Chico 40. Tāiko is our floating home. She gives us the freedom to go anywhere the wind and weather allows. We release a new video every Sunday.
