The essential oil can be used as for numbing toothache, anesthetizing fish. I used a FLIR-One thermal camera to show the hot vapors running through the glassware.

Other oils from different herbs can also be extracted in this way, such as lavender, basil, geranium, sage, etc. Essential oil was made from dried clove buds and is totally natural. Useful for aromatherapy and other alternate medicines. Hope that you have as much fun as I did making mine!
