Going down.

Happy 21st Birthday to me! Instead of going to Sixty Restaurant with my mom due to her being in quarantine, I always wanted to come here with my friend.

This is the first tallest building in Moscow (540m) while the second tallest building is Federation East Tower (373m). It started it's construction in 1960 and and opened in November 1967.

I wanted to see what the 1967 Rheinstahl elevators looked like before this devastating fire caught on 27th August 2000 (2 days later after my birth) and elevator crash. Rheinstahl is extremely rare in Russia as there are nowhere to be found. These have been replaced by Thyssenkrupp in 2003.

Elevator 2 was broken by the time we came here. While we came here in March and it was closed for renovation by September but it was reopened on 11th/21st June.
