Today I’m restoring a beautifully etched brass mug with striking red paint inside the designs. After removing the tarnish and giving it a good polish, I noticed the red paint looked... faded. Did I accidentally damage it? 😬

This actually happened once before with an incense burner, and the color came back naturally over time—so I’m hoping it’s the same deal here!
