STORYLINE:
Thousands took to the streets over the weekend in Latin America to celebrate Pride.

Giant rainbow flags, flashy costumes, floats and balloon sculptures, motorized caravans, and other demonstrations accompanied the LGBTQ+ community.

In central Lima, the large march filled entire blocks between Campo Marte and Plaza Alameda.

In Quito, the concentration in a central area covered a short stretch until reaching the Casa de la Cultura.

And in Venezuela, Peru and Ecuador, the main events took place over the weekend.
