In this special five-part Future of Transportation series, I speak with Nick Caros an international transportation policy analyst at ITF OECD about his policy and research work in sustainable freight transportation.

Nick Caros is a transportation planner, data scientist, and sustainable mobility advocate working to solve global transportation challenges. Nick currently leads data-driven transportation policy analysis at the International Transport Forum (ITF) OECD. He recently completed his PhD at MIT, where he focused on adapting urban transportation systems and land use for the future of work. He holds engineering degrees from UBC and NYU, and brings a wide range of experience spanning heavy civil construction, transportation planning consulting, and international policy research.
