As a former employee at 3D Systems, I have first hand knowledge about unscrupulous business practices. Namely the formation of companies that manufacture and sell cheap alternatives to their Visijet PXL Core powder. This is done, so that when customers warranties run out and they decide to try cheaper consumables from another company, (actually only one other company is actually their competitor), the customer soon realizes after making a purchase from one of the "other" companies, that the powder they have purchased takes an exceedingly long time to set hard, and when it finally does... its green strength, and usability is so poor, that the customers go back to the $1,100 Visijet PXL Core, never to venture away from being loyal customers forevermore. This short demonstration video shows which companies are selling terrible consumables and the one company this scheme is meant to stop from taking anymore of over 350 plus of 3D Systems Customers.
