Chat Man Friday is a podcast for men living, studying, or working in North and West Melbourne. This is episode five of Chat Man Friday, and our guest is Mr MS. He comes to the podcast with a desire to share his life experience. For many years MS described his lucky life. He made good choices early on, was successful in business and raised a beautiful family.

But when MS's parents passed away, everything changed. Addiction entered into life and, over the years, took hold.

Mr MS gives the listener an authentic account of what it's like to be unhoused, survive addiction and be incarcerated. He talks about the importance of family, the pain of disconnection and the challenges many people face when trying to access crisis accommodation or food relief systems. Most of all, MS hopes his story and advice will reach those experiencing addiction and show that it is possible to find a way forward.
