Next show on the North American leg of the tour is in Denver, the band’s first gig in the city since 1996. The band head away from the west coast and head in-land for two shows. First in Las Vegas (which we have no material for) and this show in Denver. This show isn’t as popular as the earlier ones like Seattle or some of the later gigs in Philadelphia or New York but it still packs a decent punch. Liam is still sounding very good. For the first few songs he sounds great (though gets a few words in Acquiesce wrong) and puts on a great Gas Panic!. However, the second half of the set he starts to weaken. He dodges the “shiiines” on Cigarettes & Alcohol and sounds just okay on the last few songs. Noel and the rest of the band do very well, with Noel performing some very good covers and a great Where Did It All Go Wrong?. All-in-all, this is a solid show, but there are better. Liam dedicates Who Feels Love? to Travis, who have been supporting Oasis on the North American leg.
