Trumpeter Terell Stafford and saxophonist Tim Warfield are joined by music director and bassist, Keith DeStefano, Anam Owili-Eger on piano and Joe Falcey on drums performing Smada from Lush Life: Philadelphia Celebrates Billy Strayhorn Concert, September 19th, 2014 at the Suzanne Roberts Theater in Philadelphia.

The presentation was produced by the Philadelphia Jazz Project in conjunction with OutBeat: America’s First Queer Jazz Festival and featured a superb ensemble of musicians, gay and straight paying homage to one of America’s most important musician composers - Billy Strayhorn and the composer of “Sophisticated Lady” and many other Ellington classics. The music director and conductor for the event was bassist, Keith DeStefano.
