Back in December 2017 I started illustrating TMWSIY as a fan project after realizing it had been 20 years since I started listening to Phish.
Twenty years is a long time to be doing anything. As one of the few things that remained a constant for me over such a lengthy period; I wanted to fill in a hole in my personal fandom. At my first show at Merriweather Post Pavilion in 1998 I heard the song Tela but had no context for its place in Gamehendge.
To my knowledge there is no visual representation of the full story so I said screw it and made one. Gamehendge is a state of mind for a lot of folks, but for me I wanted to get to the heart and see it from a cinematic perspective.
This video is a collection of every strip created up until August 15, 2018. At the cut off point we are just beginning to meet Errand Wolfe and the revolutionaries. The video is set to the first known recording of TMWSIY
