After a couple successful flights, I added my new 2 axis gimbal to my Blade 350 QX Quad-copter and tried to fly it at night. I went up just a little ways and hit my return to home without a problem. The only problem was that when it wasn't in return to home it would keep drifting forward because of the weight. It wasn't that bad, so I decided to take it up higher. Just before I started losing orientation, I hit my return to home to bring it back down. It almost flipped over and then started drifting away from me. I tried several times turning return to home on and off, but it was no use. I think the higher wind at that altitude and the Quad being pointed downwind was too much. After running a couple blocks after it, I turned off Return to home and let it drop lower. I had already overshot the park 3 blocks away, so I turned the return to home back on and kept running. I finally caught up to it hovering above peoples houses slowly coming back toward me now that the wind was lessened. I was able to run down an alley and land it manually.
