Mohonk Mountain House is located only a couple of hours from New York city. Many New Yorkers escape the city bustle to get some restful relaxation here at Mohonk Mountain House. The property is very quaint and peaceful. You can visit as a day trip or stay overnight at the House. We only did the day trip and was not able to explore the entire property. If you are ever in the New Paltz area, you should stop by for a visit, especially in autumn!
