As Scotland prepares to host COP26, the RSE Young Academy of Scotland is hosting a variety of discussions about what climate change means for Scotland and what we can and should do in response.

Here, YAS member Dr Sandro Carnicelli chats with Dr Ioanna Farsari, Senior Lecturer in Tourism Studies from Dalarna University, Sweden, about the relationship between Tourism and Climate Change. They discuss what this means for a variety of stakeholders including travellers, researchers, businesses, and local communities. They examine how the disruption of Covid-19 has caused us to reassess our relationship with travel, and the potential lessons this might teach us as we tackle the pressing issue of climate change.
