We have been sourcing little-used reconditioned Japanese Yamaha uprights and grands, made between 1965 and 1985, for over 20 years. They are production-line pianos, Yamaha making over 100,000 pianos a year at that time. Carefully chosen Welmar pianos of the same vintage have the same or greater quality of touch and tone and are also much more economical.
