Loudspeakers Will Not Be Allowed At Illegally Built Mosques & Temples, Says Mumbai Police

Amid the loudspeaker row in Maharashtra, the Mumbai Police have come up with an action plan. According to the plan, loudspeakers will not be allowed at illegally built religious places, including temples and mosques. As a preventive measure, the police are also sending notices to people connected to past communal crimes or rows. The Maharashtra Home Minister also shared that the state police held a meeting on the matter. He pointed out that there is a concerted effort to disturb law and order situations in the state. This comes after Raj Thackrey demanded a ban on mosque loudspeakers by May 3rd, or there would be counter-protests with Hanuman Chalisa in front of them.
