The Nobex Mitre Saw: Overview and getting Started

This video introduces the Nobex Mitre Saw. I have worked with this mitre saw for a few years now, as this has been the hand saw of choice for the companies and colleges I have worked with when teaching hobby framing.

Unlike regular very low cost mitre saws, the Nobex Mitre Saw is designed to for Picture Framers. It's a light-weight and cost effective tool, and ideal if you're starting out.

There is an additional measuring systems that you can use, but the local college where I run some of my workshops, doesn't have that, so we just measure each length of wood as we work. The measuring system is a real advantage as it means that you can easily cut the same lengths of wood and as such provides repeatability.
