നാടൻ രീതിയിൽ വളരെ സോഫ്റ്റായ കൊഴുക്കട്ട ഇങ്ങനെ ഉണ്ടാക്കി നോക്കു

Kozhukattai Ingredients:
For Grinding:
Matta Rice - 3 glass (soak this overnight and drain it)
Grated Coconut - 1/2 glass
Cumin Seeds - 1/2 tsp
Shallots (small) - 4 nos.
Garlic (small) - 2 cloves.
Salt - as needed
For Seasoning:
Coconut Oil - 2 tbsp
Mustard Seeds - 2 tsp
Urad Dal - 3 tbsp
Curry Leaves - a few
Green Chillies - 5 (chopped)
Dried Red Chillies - 4 to 5

Grated Coconut - 2 glass (can be adjusted according to taste)

Instructions:
Grind everything under "For Griding" coarsely with a little water to make it a thick batter.
Keep this batter aside.
Keep a thick-bottomed pan on stove.
Add coconut oil, mustard seeds, urad dal, red chillies, green chillies and curry leaves.
Stir this until it gets brown.
Add batter and stir this well on low flame until it becomes a thick dough. It takes around 5 to 8 minutes.
Add grated coconut, mix well and turn off the flame.
Once it is cool enough to handle, roll it into balls very gently.
Steam these balls in a steamer for 1/2 an hour.
Turn off the flame.
Hot "Kozhukattais" are ready to be served.

Chammanthi (Dip) Ingredients:
Green Chillies - 4 nos.
Fresh Curry Leaves - a few
Garlic Cloves - 2 small
Shallots (small) - 10 to 15
Salt - as needed
Instructions:
Grind the above coarsely.
Add raw coconut oil and mix it.
Serve hot "Kozhukkattais" with this chammanthi for a yummy and healthy snack.
