Описание к видео Mental Health Research for Cancer Patients | BREATHE Tv Season 5 Episode #1

In this episode, YOU WILL BE ENCOURAGED. Join us as we talk about survival, Life with Cancer and the mental health impacts that can come with a cancer diagnosis.

We are joined by Michelle Ferretti, who shares the research and training, specifically regarding integrative oncology and Life with Cancer’s unique Integrative Psycho-Oncology Program (IPOP), a four-program curriculum designed to build emotional coping skills utilizing cognitive, mindfulness-based, and contemplative perspectives.

Michelle leads a multi-institution research team exploring the efficacy and cultural relevance of the first program of the IPOP curriculum and is a co-investigator on a research team studying measurement of and interventions for brain fog, or cancer-related cognitive impairment (CRCI).

In this episode, you’ll learn about Psycho-Oncology. You may be living with cancer, but there is support for you mentally and emotionally as you move through.  Take a deep breath, release, grab a notepad and some tea, let’s get empowered.
