15 Largest Animals Ever Caught On Camera

The animal kingdom is full of surprises. So, while giraffes and elephants might seem like pretty large creatures, they have nothing on a bunch of other unusually giant beasts that you might run into out in the wild. From a moose that’s bigger than the size of a car to the world’s biggest elephant and a weight-lifting horse. In this video, we’re taking a look at 15 of the largest animals ever caught on camera.

15) Giant Moose Stops Traffic
With sharp hooves and heavy bodies that can take down even the worst of predators, Moose are some of the strongest animals in the world. But this incredible creature has managed to take people by surprise with its massive size. The Alaskan moose is actually the largest among its species with adult males easily growing up to over six feet and weighing around 1600 pounds. This hoofed mammal is seen taking a stroll down a road in Alaska and appears to be larger than a car that’s driving right beside it.

14) The World’s Largest Anaconda
Medusa is known to be the world’s largest snake in captivity. Living in ‘The Edge of Hell’ haunted house in Kansas City, this python is about 25 feet, 2 inches in size with a weight of over 350 pounds, and has a diet of live raccoons, deers, and hogs. But even with her size, Medusa is one of the most beautiful reticulated reptiles in the world. The giant snake’s most recent measurement was taken in 2011 when around 15 people came in and held Medusa in their hands with the snake looking more than comfortable in the arms of a bunch of random humans. But don’t be fooled because, with her size, Medusa can easily squeeze just about anyone to death.

13. World’s Biggest Elephant
With their average height of 8 feet, weighing somewhere around 5,000 to 10,000 pounds, Elephants are some of the largest animals out in the wild with the strength to take down just about anyone. But this elephant right here stands out from the crowd with a weight of about 8 tons or 16,000 pounds and a height of 13 feet. The huge animal roams in the jungles of Tanzania, with even the biggest trees looking tiny in comparison to this beast...
