Now available in over 65 cities, Lyft is an app for welcoming, affordable rides in minutes. As the first peer-to-peer service, Lyft launched in 2012 with a vision to reconnect people and communities through better transportation. Last year, with their introduction of Lyft Line, the first shared ride option, Lyft made significant progress towards their mission: to fill empty car-seats, lessen the number of cars on the road, and ultimately decrease congestion. As a people-powered movement, Lyft is uniquely focused on creating a welcoming in-ride experience for both the driver and passenger. Lyft drivers are every-day people, filling the empty seats in their personal cars by giving rides to others in their spare time.
