I know it's been a long time since we posted. Thanks for your patience; there's been a lot going on.

In this episode we catch you up with the work that the A5 crew had been doing with completing the upper roof beams, the "palitada" or plastering of the hollow block walls, the roofing and rain gutters, and an amazing solution to dealing with the grade on site.

We're very happy with the "rip-rap" or native stone retaining walls placed behind the house and on the east side. This makes an alley behind the house that will be perfect for a little Japanese garden and on the east side a patio space for the afternoons in the shade.

The A5 crew is working so very hard at completing the project. Every day we see a new thing that surprises us when we walk around. The quality of the work is outstanding. Lines are straight. Walls are square. And Arki Kyan Santiago visits the site nearly every day going over some of the more complicated parts with the foreman, Edwin, to ensure that the build meets her expectations.

We are very grateful for the hard work that the team is putting in every day.
