A tough mental-health day for me as we did some exploration on the hottest day of the year, trying to stay cool and avoiding the worst heat of the day. We explored a beach famous for it's "odd sounding" sand, drove through Snowdonia and hiked up to a Fairy Glen - a stunning rocky gorge. We finished out the day hunting for Conwy Falls, first failing to find them and then ending up back where we started to do a short loop trail to get a good look at the waterfall and the salmon ladder.
