The Season of Arrivals mod "Font of Light" has an incorrect description. It does not generate orbs on finishers, and performing finishers does NOT consume any stacks of charged with light. However, when an arc mod is slotted, performing a finisher DOES grant an overshield for the duration of the finisher.

Instead, the primary perk of Font of Light is as follows:When charged with light, taking damage from an enemy while surrounded by 3 or more enemies will create an explosion on your character, consuming on stack of charged with light. It's not outrageously strong by any means, but it is a very effective way to passively clear red bar enemies.

I have found good success when combining this mod with the "Healthy finisher" and "Protective Light" mods, to increase my survivability in all levels of content. At the cost of 1/10 of your super, performing a finisher will grant a huge overshield and also heal you instantly, which is great for escaping sticky situations.
