Tennyson's Poem Ulysses / in Tamil Bharath Ravindran / Bharath Academy. This poem is an expression of the longings and aspirations of Ulysses, the King of Ithaca. Ulysses is returned to his island after long wandering over seas and oceans for twenty years. In the island Ithaca, he is leading an idle life without any adventure. He was tired of his idle life. He wanted to set sail again. He desires to explore new lands and undertake new adventures.
