Most paddlers religiously follow the Tahitian Outrigger Philosophy for technical guidance which is a very smart idea. However very few outside of Tahiti ( or even Hawaii) can LIVE & Breathe that Training Lifestyle from the time they are 5 year old kids to their 50s .. The Magic is in their religious totality the Paddling life - So IF you CANNOT life that Life ... just mimicking the "equipment" and wearing the outfits won't get you there 😁😁.. So Change the Paradigm in your Paddle "tools" to get an advantage through Design ..

For e.g. The relatively new Flat teardrop-shaped blade hasn't evolved much in 40 years, materials, shafts, team riders & logos of brands have changed .. but otherwise the basic premise is much unchanged..

The kayaking world switched to concave blades over 40 years ago thus we felt it was time to adopt that concept of holding water more efficiently. IF you lack the LIFETIME of perfect Paddling Lifestyle coming all together to hone a perfect paddle athlete, then the shortcut would be the Progression blades in Series - the focus was always to release the first REAL concave blades FIRST and do the Flat Paddles LATER .

Therefore for those who are proud owners of our Concave blades .. you will find it has IMPROVED your usage of Flat Blades regardless of the make or model ..
