Andaz was the blockbuster and was the highest-grossing movie of its time. After this movie both became so popular. Same year Raj kapoor gave another all time blockbuster movie named Barsat. Dilip Kumar also gave a superhit movie named Shabnam.

Later both the actors never did not share screen. Both had ego problem. Still Raj kapoor tried to work together in his home production film named Sangam (1958). But dilip kumar refused to work. Dilip kumar made his charisma in acting and became tragedy King and raj kapoor became showman of bollywood.

Andaz is a 1949 Indian Hindi language romantic drama film, directed by Mehboob Khan, with music by Naushad. The film stars Dilip Kumar, Nargis and Raj Kapoor in a love triangle, with Cukoo and Murad in supporting roles. The film's music was provided by Naushad and lyrics written by Majrooh Sultanpuri. It is the only film to feature Dilip Kumar and Raj Kapoor together onscreen.
At the time of its release, Andaz was the highest-grossing Indian film ever, until its record was broken by Raj Kapoor's Barsaat that same year.
