We went to Ross Island, where the British administration and their families lived in large comfortable houses, safely away from the tribes and the prisoners who were housed in Port Blair! Today, the buildings are dilapidated, with trees and roots growing all over the broken walls. We caught the sound and light show on Ross Island (which we highly recommend)! And then we went to have an unlimited vegetarian buffet dinner at one of the best restaurants in Port Blair: Dining House. It also has a souvenir store which is run by the local community through a self help group - we bought a few souvenirs for ourselves and two amazing Jarawa tribesmen for our FIRST YouTube giveaway!
