How to Reset a Honda Grom ECU

Описание к видео How to Reset a Honda Grom ECU

When doing any engine modification to the Honda Grom like an Exhaust or an Intake Mod, you should always reset the ECU. Today I show you how to do that with a household item!

Using a paper clip and roughly a minute of your time, I'm going to show you how to reset the Grom ECU to "learn" your new modification. Typically you can get away with an Exhaust OR an Intake modification on the stock ECU fuel mapping. The bike can compensate on one mod or the other without running too lean. If you do both mods, it's important to get a fuel programmer to help with fuel and power delivery. These bikes already run fairly lean from the factory, so an exhaust or even a air box mod can make it run leaner.

With resetting the ECU, the bike will get a fresh start in relearning the new modification and making that mod the new 'norm." The hardest part of this entire process is getting the seat back on, seriously. I hope this video helps you and gets your bike running proper!
