An updated abbreviated study focusing on Numbers 14 and Ezekiel 4, the foundational Scriptures underlying the Year-Day principle of prophetic interpretation, in order to reveal the validity of an expanded Day-Year-Day principle by which historical typical prophetic periods calculated according to the Year-Day principle can and indeed MUST have another application in anti-type in literal days. Seeking to dissolve doubts and fully ground our faith and belief and prophetic interpretation on the bible and bible alone.

the united Kingdom split in 977BC into the Southern Kingdom of Judah with two tribes under Rehoboam and the Northern Kingdom of Israel with the other ten tribes under Jeroboam. Within one year, by 976BC, Jeroboam built the two golden calves and set up his false system of idol worship...the 390 years comprising the prophetic period of Eze 4:5 for which Ezekiel was commanded to lie on his left side points to 586BC with the final destruction of Jerusalem, fulfilling the object lesson outlined in Eze 4:1-3 (c.f., an exposition of the 390 years of Ezekiel 4:4-6 by Floyd Nolen Jones).

Prayer for a Humble, Teachable Spirit
It is my earnest prayer that all who encounter this Series will carefully and prayerfully consider my position on these biblical topics without pre-judging the matter based on what someone else thinks or teaches about some of these same issues (but that may well not comport with my biblical understanding or with God's present Truth). I believe all should humbly seek the Lord and His Holy Spirit in order to know what is Truth as pertains to the so-called Seven Times or 2520 Prophecy, adopting a cautiously open mindset that attempts to find a positive biblical foundation (if there be one), while simultaneously maintaining a healthy skepticism that seeks to identify potential biblical errors or misunderstandings, such that we may ever remain grounded on the solid platform of established Truth.

Present Truth vs. the so-called 2520 Movement
In seeking to share the new light that God has given me in this matter, I am very much aware of the contemporary so-called 2520 Movement, and please know of a certainty that I do NOT agree with a large portion of their teachings and interpretation regarding the Seven Times or 2520 Prophecy (which I find to be infused with error and fanaticism); most especially, I explicitly reject their so-called Reform Lines as being fundamentally flawed. I am NOT a member of the 2520 Movement and have no association with them.

Grounded on the Platform of Truth
Ultimately, it is up to all to decide for themselves what each thinks about the biblical issues raised herein or even whether to spend any time on them at all. I am but a lowly messenger who is happy to leave all judgment and conviction to the Lord through His Holy Spirit. However, I can comfort all with the certainty that, unlike the 2520 Movement, this novel but clear biblical position does not in any way remove one pin, peg, or block from the foundation and platform of Truth established, uplifted, and taught since the building up of the Seventh Day Adventist Movement following 1844. {EW 258.3} {1MR 43.1}
