People just don't understand the nightmare it is for a pet to be abandoned and have to figure out life in the wild on their own. They think "The cat or dog will figure it out and eat mice".

To make things worse, most are not spayed, so they get pregnant, and newborn kittens find themselves immediately in grave danger. Luckily, Katie McKittrick got the call, and she successfully rescued this Hollywood Family: Clark Gable, Carey Grant, Bette Davis, Humphrey Bogart, Audrey Hepburn, and their mom, Grace Kelly.
