My cRaziEsT training run: the Taco Bell 30K

Описание к видео My cRaziEsT training run: the Taco Bell 30K

When your training plan calls for a 4-hour run and you’ve been thinking about ways to shake things up… sometimes you end up with a run so challenging it surprises everyone.

The urban legend that is the Taco Bell 50K is a race in Denver, Colorado that intrigues me. So much so that I joked with a running friend about doing our own training version of it. So I did. Presenting the Taco Bell 30K+ run, a 22.55 mile run in which I stopped at 4 Taco Bell restaurants/aid stations. The rules were that I had to order 1 Taco, 1 Burrito, 1 Crunchwrap Supreme, and drink 1 Baja Blast. Receipts had to be collected for proof of completion (kind of like the Barkley Marathons!).

This is not one of my usual runventure video. Lots of talking, some snark and some heavy sarcasm were utilized to keep my spirits high while the temperature rose and the food collected in my gut. Thank goodness I have an iron constitution!
