Welcome back to the Petrolheadonism Channel where we are unveiling our latest collaboration with Walter of @retroclassica – he recently found this absolutely iconic car in a lock-up garage in a very sorry state for itself and called us at Petrolheadonism to get involved with bringing it back to its former glory. We hope you don’t mind the staged thumbnail, we added a couple of stools and a cardboard box to mask the British Icon from immediate recognition as once you see what’s under the cover, it’s pretty obvious from the shape that this barn find is indeed an iconic and historic car!

It was cleaned up following the barn find and collected from the lock-up garage, brought over to Walter’s place and Paul at Speedbroker worked his magic to remove years of grime and green stuff to discover the condition underneath the veil of built-up grot. We’ve now stepped in to help Walter get it ready for a Silverstone Auction at Supercarfest 28/29th May at Sywell Aerodrome and follow this journey of restoration of our iconic barn find from dropping her off at the body shop – Our New 2022 Partner Pennings UK in Milton Keynes – to getting her stripped, prepped, resprayed and brought back to her former glory. This iconic and historic motor vehicle will be gleaming once again and kicks off a new series of videos where will be embarking on several projects a year – from purchase to preparation to restoration to auction and sale – so stay tuned to Petrolheadonism, hit that subscribe button and join the adventures.
