New Generation of Stars

Stars form from dense clouds of gas and dust known as nebulas. Inside these nebulas, gravity causes the material to collapse and heat up, eventually leading to the formation of a new star. This process can take millions of years to occur, and once a star forms, it can continue to shine for billions of years before eventually dying.

In astronomy, there are also studies of the formation of stars in different environments, such as the formation of stars in galaxies, open clusters, stellar associations and etc. Understanding the process of star formation is an active area of research in astronomy, and scientists are still working to unravel many of the mysteries surrounding the birth of stars and how they evolve over time.
