Welcome to our latest video series - Ask A Sporty's CFI. We'll be talking to the 25 flight instructors we have on staff at Sporty's to get their tips for safer and smoother flying. Today we're talking with David Zitt, Chief Flight Instructor at Sporty's Academy. Students are tempted to use the iPad right away during the pilot training to help with flight planning and cross-country navigation. What is the right approach to this though, and do you still need to learn how to use a paper secitonal, plotter and E6B? David has the answer.
