The Typing of the Dead: Overkill (PC) Playthrough - NintendoComplete

A playthrough of Sega's zombie-themed typing game for Windows PCs, The Typing of the Dead: Overkill.

Played through on the "agent" difficulty level.

Ported from the 2009 Wii game, Overkill is the latest game in Sega's The Typing of the Dead series, which offers hilariously tongue-and-cheek takes on the popular rail shooters by arming players with the deadly force of touch-typing in lieu of plastic guns.

This PC version contains all of the extra content that was featured in the PS3 extended version, and I enabled a few of the DLC packs (sci-fi, silver screen, and the "filth" dictionaries) for the final two stages. For some very... uh... "saucy" typing prompts, watch from 2:30:37. O_o I have to say, I'd never heard of a "cloven tuft" or a "flesh tuxedo" before this, but god, some of the game's more creative ways of describing "downstairs bits" had me all but hemorrhaging with laughter.

It's hilariously vulgar largely for the sake of being vulgar, with some of the most foul boss encounters imaginable. Sindy's gut was particularly gross, as was the outright disturbing end cinematic. And better yet, the PC version cleans up the image quality a huge amount from the Wii version, so all of the gross bits are now crystal clear.
