“It’s not just about choosing a school – it’s about mapping out a child’s future.”

A pleasure to be interviewed by David Bell, CEO of PCD GROUP Club, at the Commerce Hotel on the Isle of Man, ahead of the PCD CLUB Dinner.

In our conversation, we explored how I work with internationally mobile families to find the right-fit British boarding schools for their children – places where they thrive academically, socially, and culturally.

As I mentioned to David, “Families choose UK boarding schools for stability, specialism, and results – from academy football or swimming programmes, sixth form studies, to outstanding university progression.”

We spoke about my 17 years of ongoing work in Nigeria, including the exciting launch of Rugby School Nigeria in the heart of Lagos at Eko Atlantic City this September – a sister school to the UK’s prestigious Rugby School.

As David highlighted, “You’re back and forth to Lagos once a month – what’s the agenda looking like?” My answer: “It’s about both guiding families and building partnerships with schools on the ground.”

We also touched on the growing role of wealth advisors – particularly those based in jurisdictions like the Isle of Man – who are helping families plan educational pathways through strategic trust structures. It’s a win-win: trusted financial advice meets informed school choices.

Finally, we looked ahead to the Lagos Private Wealth Conference, where I’ll be speaking as a headline continue to connect with private clients and professionals committed to long-term, cross-border educational planning. https://lnkd.in/eFQcNJwZ

It is an increasingly competitive time for schools and businesses. “This is the time to be distinctive,” I told David. “It’s the time to invest in your message, stand out, and stay front of mind – for advisors and schools alike.”
