In this Implema Talks episode, Johan Söderström interviews Johan Berg about one of the biggest shifts in ‪@SAP‬’s data strategy. With SAP Business Data Cloud (BDC), SAP has taken a clear step toward an open data ecosystem by enabling structured data sharing from SAP platforms to third-party data platforms. 

Johan explains how the ecosystem has expanded. ‪@Databricks‬ was part of the initial launch. ‪@SnowflakeInc‬ followed in autumn 2025. Microsoft Fabric is planned to be enabled in 2026, enabling data sharing with SAP solutions within the Business Data Cloud framework.
