Fast Boogie Woogie : Andrew Elias - "Cold Hands Boogie"

Movie recorded on one of the pianos at the Dutch Boogie Woogie Festival in Ermelo Holland, March 2010.

This piece features me playing some very fast Boogie Woogie on a lovely upright piano {I have posted other earlier Movies playing this, but on my not so good Casio Digital Piano}. This is a self-composition, but I happily credit top UK Pianist Ben Waters for the initial inspiration of the 'straight-eighths' left hand pattern.

From similar movies of me playing, several people have asked me about my technique of NOT using the little finger but substituting the 4th and 3rd fingers instead for extra speed and power, and at the end of the piece, I try and demonstrate how I do this?! {as well as having a little go at the Bumble Boogie Riff}.
