The USAY - Medicine Wheel Warrior's Program involved over 50 Indigenous youth in grades 1 & 2 in the Niitsitapi Learning Centre, along with a handful of USAY's Indigenous Inclusion Program (I.I.P) Youth. The youth learned about Medicine Wheel teachings and ancestral heroes from a local community Elder, Randy Bottle. The youth created their own characters and stories that made them feel strong and think of themselves as powerful leaders. Then 3D technology was used to scan and print their own action figures, to accompanying action figure trading cards and customized boxes.

The MWW program wrapped up with a special finale where for the first time, the youth could see themselves and their alter-ego superheroes at USAY's first-ever superhero unveiling event. The event was focused to celebrate and feature these Indigenous youth with their families and friends in Calgary during Aboriginal Awareness Week. USAY extended invitations to real-life superhero’s who were positive community leaders and role models. The unveiling event was open to the public and was family friendly, including other activities:
Food | Prizes | Photo Booth | Cotton Candy | Stilt Walkers| Mascots The MWW unveiling event was held at Eau Claire Market Mall on the evening of June 19th, 2018.
