Ever wondered what it's like to work behind the scenes at a real live show. Well here's a look. I work with several Union Theatre houses, as well as non union, chamber theatre groups. This is a backstage look at the hair, makeup & costume transformation from a regular girl to a 1960's Brigette Bardot Bombshell. I chose this show to film b/c there would be mininum distractions, as most characters were already on stage. Stage hair and makeup must be QUICK & EFFICIENT. Usually there is only about 20 minutes to put characters in both wig & makeup. Some shows alot more time but not always. Through experience, I've been able to do both wig & makeup, or hair styling & makeup (which you'll see here) in less 20 minutes. This is the first of many backstage peeks you'll have access to.
